Bow Shoulder Top

When I saw this border print cotton, I just knew I wanted to use it for something this summer, and Burda 6121 turned out to be the perfect pattern for it! It took a little finagling to get the bottom edge to hit exactly where I wanted it (I ended up shortening it by about 3”), but it was an easy top to make. This fabric was a 60” single boarder print, and I was able to purchase a quarter yard less than what the pattern called for, but I bet you could cut back even more with a double boarder print. I wore it while grabbing coffee to meet a friend with, and she thought it was cute too. The only thing I might do yet is add an invisible zipper under the arm, because it’s a bit awkward to get off… 😉
