Tiered Linen Skirt
This is another rare self-drafted pattern (as much as I don’t enjoy drafting patterns, I’m slow to pay money for something that is only straight strips and right angles!). I went with my body measurements, which I would assume would work for making it larger or smaller (additionally, if you wanted it longer or shorter, that could easily be adjusted too). The layers are 7” wide by 24” bigger than my hip measurement. Each tier has a strip of lining fabric underneath it to attach the next tier onto, and I cut those 6” by 4” wider than my hip measurement. Also, I did cut the top layer piece and the lining piece 1.5” wider to allow for the waistband.
This skirt reminds me of a skirt my mom made me back in grade school - anyone else remember this style from the 90s?!
