Blue Bow Shirt

 How fun is this top with its bows?! When I saw this pattern, I thought it would make a perfect transitional piece from winter into spring.  I couldn’t find a ribbon that matched very well, so I used twill tape, and I think the bows are such a cute detail to this top. 

I used Simplicity pattern #9545 and a rather lightweight (not very stretchy) sweatshirt fleece to make this. It came together quite quickly, and I was very pleased with the fit. I styled it with white pants, because I’m hopeful spring is on its way now that it’s March… fingers crossed!
